In June 2006, PCC counselors Tom Hui, Harold Lalande, and Ellen Van Etten had the privilege of attending a one-day Celebrate Recovery Training Seminar at Hawthorn Gospel Church  in New Jersey. This Christ-centered recovery program was started fourteen years ago in Saddleback Church  in Lake Forest, California, and was designed to help those struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups, showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Today more than 300,000 people have gone through this recovery process in more than 3500 churches.
This seminar is designed to give an overview of the process, show how to start a program, how to train leaders, how to structure fellowship events, how to reach out to the community, how to implement the curriculum, and build a God-exalting worship experience.
